About Bulabash Vacation Rental Sites

Bulabash was started by three devoted travellers, who between them, have covered most corners of the globe…and who all believe a bad day at the beach, ski hill, exotic city (insert here your own favourite thing to do!) is always better than a good day at the office!  

We have created Bulabash to:  

1. Provide property owners and advertisers the highest level of service, and return on marketing-dollar investment, available anywhere on the internet
2. Provide travellers with an intuitive, easy to use, accommodations search engine, that will excite and inspire them.
   

Our head office is located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

A little background on our three founders…

Diane:

My entrepreneurial career began right after completing three years at Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario.  I began opening businesses, which consisted of two very successful restaurants, a clothing store called Silly Sister Cloth line and Cappuccino.  It was a happening, eclectic operation which consisted of fashion, a cappuccino bar and children's cinema.  I've also owned and operated two second hand clothing stores and currently am a partner in a luxury home vacation rental company.

I've travelled extensively through Canada, United States, and the West Indies.  My focus is to expand Bulabash to offer a wide range of properties worldwide for the ultimate vacation selection and experience.

Graham:

I grew up in London, Ontario playing every sport I could.  If it had a ball, you kept score, or involved speed, I was doing it.  Summers were spent on the beach at the family cottage on Lake Huron.

Since graduating from University, I’ve lived in Bermuda, Calgary, Whistler, spent a year backpacking through Europe, Africa, and Asia and now live in Victoria.   
 
I’ve skied all over Canada, and the USA and windsurfed all over the world, including Bermuda, Aruba, and Maui.  A few years ago I took up kiteboarding and have since become addicted to the beautiful summer winds here in Victoria, at Nitinat Lake (on the west coast of Vancouver Island), and Squamish (half way to Whistler from Vancouver).  The wide open beaches and waves at Tofino and Long Beach are also truly incredible.

Professionally, before Bulabash,  I’ve been involved in the hospitality industry; the food and beverage industry; owned an office supplies company that I sold successfully, and have placed a number of “angel” investments into young technology companies that I continue to advise.
